Well well

I certainly can’t complain about how these days worked out.  In an unusual move, I spent both of them at the same sales location, consecutive days at the same location not being common.  It was a fairly distant location and one at which I’ve had generally decent luck.  Well, both of these days were nice indeed, not spectacular but good and steady.  Another thing that made my performance especially satisfactory is that more than half of my sales were difficult ones.  While some buyers are willing to sign up with very little persuasion (“rollovers” or “laydowns”) these more difficult buyers raised a number of objections, each one of which I had to overcome.  Doing so tested my sales skills in a way they’ve rarely been tested.  Of course I had less success with some other potential customers, some objections simply cannot be overcome no matter how hard one may try, but I’m happy with the way things worked out.
