Monday, February 27 – Tuesday, February 28

Two decent days off.  I didn’t do much of anything during the day on Monday, but then in the early evening we went out to a barbecue restaurant.  I’m always a big fan of barbecue and this place (Famous Dave’s) did not disappoint.  There were many choices, but I ended up having a combo platter with beef brisket and fried cod.  Okay, the fish isn’t exactly barbecue, but close enough.

Tuesday I ran some errands during the day and went to the gym in the late afternoon.  That elbow soreness is still there, not by any means bad, but I’ve become very wary about aggravating any injuries.  As a result, I decided not to try any bench pressing – my goal of 10 x 225 is getting close – and did leg work instead.  Life Fitness seated leg press: 6 x 10 x 395.  Seated calf raises: 3 x 12 x 135.
