Saturday, August 25 – Sunday, August 26

Well it was a half-decent weekend.  On Saturday I did some benching: 6 x 135, 6 x 165, 4 x 185, 2 x 205, 3 x 6 x 225.  I followed with some neutral grip pull-ups, though unfortunately I can’t remember how many.  It wasn’t a lot, maybe 15 total reps.  My plans had been to do substantially more pull-ups on Sunday, but I managed a grand total of … six.  My right shoulder began to hurt on the very first rep, and by the time I got to six it was throbbing.  I’m not about to risk injury just for the sake of doing more reps, so I called it quits with the gym session.  Only later did it occur to me that I still could have done some leg work.  Drat.
