Saturday, June 18 – Sunday, June 19

Another weekend that wasn’t. As usual, I was scheduled at the Major Home Improvement Retailer both days, and had full 8-hour shifts each day. As I’ve noted before, an 8-hour shift is not twice as hard as a 4-hour; things scale up at a rapid rate, so that it’s more like three or even four times as hard. About the only good thing is that within just a couple more weeks my hours should drop and I’ll be working few if any 8’s. At least I urgently hope so. Neither of this (non) weekend’s shifts were particularly difficult, it’s just that they were, well, long.
