Four hours is plenty

It was a relatively difficult week at my main job, though I’ve had much worse. Recently i’ve had several work cycles in which the “A” days (Mondays and Wednesdays) and the “B” days (Tuesdays and Thursdays) differed significantly in terms of workload. In other words, I might be able to get out a bit early on the A days but have to stay extra time on the B’s, or vice versa.  Not this cycle. Each type of day seems to be about of equal difficulty and every day this week I finished up  at about the same time.  Guess that’s good.

I had two shifts at the Major Home Improvement Retailer, a 4:30 to 8:30 on Monday and a 7 to 11 on Thursday. Both were four-hour shifts, which is just the way I like it. Even though I was quite busy each day, especially on Thursday with a seeming mountain of freight, four hours goes by so quickly there’s really no reason to complain.

As for other stuff, I’ve gotten more and more immersed in the Unsolved Mysteries forum on Reddit.  In fact, I’ve had to be more judicious about the threads I follow, because the forum can easily turn into a time-waster of massive proportions. In moderation, though, it’s a great deal of fun.
